The most important event in the city of Chiusi is “The Grape and Wine Festival” that takes place the last week of September. It promotes knowledge of the wines with wine tasting and food pairings in the traditional old cellars of the town. The festival offers the possibility of tasting typical dishes and wandering between different places of interest throughout the town.
Not to be missed is the Convivio in honour of Bacchus. The festival also offers guided archaeological visits, the harvest of children and procession of allegorical floats.
